Birth premieres in Austria next month!

Next month on October 8 a very BOLD mother in Austria Sylvia Sedlak (who with the help of an American German professor translated the play when her children were sleeping!) brings the play to Vienna for it's premiere performance in German. Childbirth superstars Debra Pascali-Bonaro and Ina May Gaskin will be there.

"Birth" is now translated into French and German. Surely Spanish must be next!

The BOLDness never ends

Is it really September already? If you're on Facebook you know I'm out there, but after moving this summer and shuttling kids to camp and retreating to my mothers cabin with the kids this summer my BOLD blog fell silent. Today's my re-commitment to this blog!

There have been so many wonderful performances of "Birth" happening in the world. I want to give a shout-out to a few:

- BOLD Fort Worth just finished their BOLD adventure this weekend in Texas! (see photos up top!)
- BOLD Houston offered free performances this weekend and last week on the campuses of University of Houston, Lee College, and next week at Rice University. (listen to my interview on Houston's KPFT's Whole Mother Show)
- BOLD Winnipeg performed "Birth" seven times at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival in July!
- BOLD St. Louis sold out at their performance at the end of August.
