Wow, I'm sitting here eating a bowl of muesli thinking about all the BOLD organizers out there who ROCK and are full of adrenaline and thinking the task of doing BOLD was too much/ overwhelming/ exhilarating/ and the best-experience-that-ever-happen-to-them. These are the comments I am continually getting these days.
I was thrilled to receive this update from our BOLD organizer Angela Dowling in Florida who is doing 6 shows this month:
I love the fact that were the talk of the town right now. I have people, including cast, saying that this is the most talked about show that they've ever been involved in or seen! That just BLOWS MY MIND!
You Rock, Angela! Keep going. You're making change happen.
All BOLD organizers are making change happen. I can't wait to hear how the month unfolds. Stay tuned and hold on to your hats!!
from Karen Brody, leading a rejuvenation revolution for women through napping to wake you up so you can change the world. I'm also the playwright of Birth, founder of the BOLD movement to change the culture of birth, creator of Rock Your Birth, and proud mama of two boys who think women rock.

Folly of the 1 percent
If you haven't seen the recent piece in the Boston Globe by Eugene Declercq and Judy Norsigian you MUST. Click here:

I could hug both of them for writing this piece. I think every pregnant woman needs to read it and understand its implications for her maternity care.
Bravo and BOLD kudos to Declercq and Norsigian!
